The Full Portfolio
Advances in medical technology can lead to a variety of positive outcomes for patients, medical providers and the community. Since Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colorado, invested in significant enhancements to its interventional radiology suite, the hospital has seen the multiple benefits of being able to perform more complex minimally invasive oncology procedures.
The Lab Transformation
Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center in Orange County, California had two cath labs furnished by major medical equipment providers in 2000 and 2004 respectively. In 2010, the hospital made the decision to upgrade both rooms to achieve two important objectives: expand its offering of cardiac and peripheral interventionalist procedures, and attract practitioners who want to use the most advanced technology available.
The Hybrid OR
In 2009, when San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown, Texas decided to build a state-of-the-art Heart and Vascular Center from the ground up, the benefits of a hybrid surgical suite were compelling. Primarily, a hybrid OR would give the hospital the versatility to offer open and minimally-invasive cardiac and vascular procedures.
